Gem Hydraulic Oil is a superior grade hydraulic oil that is compatible with a wide range of hydraulic systems. Its main application is with static industrial and mobile earth moving machinery especially where reciprocating, rotary and axial piston pumps are being used. It is compatible with most hydraulic systems. It is a heavier oil so wont leak as quick. Hydraulic 46 is manufactured from a low aromatic solvent refined base stocks with a naturally occurring high viscosity index. The formulation contains a modern low zinc additive package. This all provides anti-wear, anti-corrosion, anti-oxidant and anti-foam characteristics. It also features demulsification properties, this means that the oil does not break down in the presence of water.
